Portland Centennial Book, 1869-1969: The Centennial Book was produced in the surprisingly short period of one month by Elizabeth Anesi and Lucille Esch, under the auspices of the Centennial Book Committee. Many members of the community contributed photographs and information to the project.

An index of 524 entries, prepared by Elizabeth Anesi several years after the Centennial Book's publication, has been incorporated into this electronic version.
