Planning Commission Meeting - PUBLIC HEARING
Wednesday, April 12, 2023
The City of Portland Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at its meeting on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 7:00 P.M. in the Council Room at City Hall, 259 Kent Street, Portland, Michigan to consider the following:
- To consider comprehensive revisions to Chapter 42 of the City of Portland Zoning Ordinance, including, but not limited to, the following:
- addition, deletion, and amendments to various zoning districts including allowed uses within those districts
- addition of site condominium regulations
- amendments to provisions related to nonconforming uses and structures
- amendments to buffering requirements between dissimilar uses and districts
- amendments to administrative review of site plans
- clarification of Zoning Board of Appeals authority
- Changes to the zoning classification of certain properties, as follows:

A request for accommodations form must be received five days prior to the Public Hearing.
