Assessing

  • The City Assessor is charged with annually determining the value of all Real and Personal Property within the City for taxation purposes and doing so in a fair and equitable manner.
  • In addition to this primary role, I help taxpayers understand the property tax laws that are relevant to their property;
  •  I also provide individuals with current and historical information on properties within the city and use GIS to provide aerial maps of specific properties.

2025 July Board of Review

Hearing Dates 

Tuesday, July 22, 2025 - 10:30 a.m. 

The Board of Review will meet to hear questions about correcting mutual mistakes of fact, clerical, or qualified errors. 

A protest may be received by letter, provided the protest letter is received by July 21,2025 to be acted upon.
