Nominating petitions for candidates for the office of City Council (4 vacancies) are available at the office of the City Clerk, 259 Kent St. Portland, Michigan, between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Petitions require 25 to 50 signatures by registered voters of the City of Portland. The City Council Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015. The deadline to file petitions is 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the City Clerk's office.
