Summer Programs

Information:

• Basic soccer skills and fundamentals will be taught through fun drills and skill building games
• Instructors: Portland High School coaches and players
• Space is limited to 40 participants for each age group
• Camp registration includes a soccer ball for each participant to keep
• Camp will take place at the Portland High School soccer field
• Cleats are permitted but not required
• Online Registration

Information:

• This soccer clinic is designed to help kids improve their skills in a fun, structured environment
• Participants will be split into groups based on age
• Each group will rotate through stations focusing on different soccer skills, including shooting, dribbling, passing, and more.
• Instructors: Portland High School soccer team & Portland Soccer Club
• Space is limited to 60 participants
• Camp registration includes a t-shirt
• Camp will take place at the Portland High School soccer field
• Cleats are permitted but not required

Information:

• This program is intended to develop fundamental skills while having fun
• Participants must be at least four years old by the start of the league
• Registration fee includes a team shirt
• Bats and balls will be provided
• Participants are required to provide their own gloves
• Cleats are permitted but not required
• League begins in June
• There will be up to 2 practices or games per week
• Online Registration

• Grade is based on the CURRENT school year
• League begins in July

Information:

• All programs take place at the Portland High School Tennis Courts
• There are NO PRACTICES the week of July 4th due to MHSAA's mandatory dead period.
• Junior Team includes entry into middle or high school camp
  • Players must be capable of serving and keeping a rally going
• *All players whose registration is paid June 9 will be guaranteed a Portland Summer Tennis shirt. Registrations paid after that date will receive a shirt only while supplies last.
